Writing for the World Wide Web

The World Wide Web has caught on like wildfire due in large part to the simplicity of the language it uses. This language—known as HyperText Markup Language, or HTML—allows anyone with a basic knowledge of computing to create a home page. Elementary school home pages can exist side by side on the Internet with home pages produced by major research universities and large corporations.
