Inserting and Formatting Images

Using your word processor or desktop publishing program, you can insert and format images of all kinds (photographs, drawings, animations) using menu commands. To insert an image in Microsoft Word, follow these steps:

1. Place your cursor at the point where you want to insert an image.
2. Click on one of the menu commands:
• INSERT > PICTURE > FROM SCANNER ...
• INSERT > PICTURE > FROM FILE ...
• INSERT > PICTURE > CLIP ART ...
3. Locate or scan the image you want to insert.
4. Click on OK.

Note: To format an image that is already in your document, double-click on it.
