BIOGRAPHY
Linda Pastan (b. 1932). Raised in New York City, Pastan now lives in Potomac, Maryland. She has published many books of poetry, including The Five Stages of Grief (1981), Waiting for My Life (1981), and PM/AM: New and Selected Poems (1982). Much of Pastan's poetry deals with her own family life. Increasingly, she has been concerned as well with issues of aging and mortality.
