BIOGRAPHY
Alice Jones (b. 1949) is a graduate of Goddard College and New York Medical College. She practiced internal medicine for several years before completing further training in psychiatry and psychoanalysis. Jones blended her literary and medical interests in her first collection of poetry The Knot, which won the Beatrice Hawley award in 1992.
