BIOGRAPHY
Li Ho (b. 791) lived in the late T'ang period of Chinese history. Born of royal blood, Li Ho began to write poetry when he was seven years old. His poetry was considered difficult during his life, largely because of its break from traditional styles and preoccupation with the erotic and macabre. Although he died at the age of 26, the poetry Li Ho wrote during his short life is still read and respected over a millennium later.
