BIOGRAPHY
Deborah Garrison (b. 1965) was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in creative writing in 1986. One year later she joined the editorial staff of The New Yorker, and is now the senior nonfiction editor. Her poetry has been published in a variety of periodicals and collected in the book A Working Girl Can't Win.
