BIOGRAPHY
Michael Collier (b. 1953) was born in Phoenix Arizona. He received his B.A. from Connecticut College and his M.F.A. from the University of Arizona. He published his first book of poems, The Clasp and Other Poems, in 1986. He has published two other collections The Folded Heart (1989) and The Ledge (2000). In 1995 he became the director of the Bread Loaf Writer's conference.
