Back: Beginning Your Library Research
Creating a Research Bibliography
As you begin to discover useful materials in your library or on the Web,
-
Make sure to copy down
exactly and fully
all of the information about each potential source you find.
-
Your goal is to compile a list of the sources that you think will give you the information you need to describe your
theme
and to document the facts and opinions you write about it.
-
At this stage of your research project, cast your net broadly, and include anything that seems like it might be a serious and relevant source. You can always remove a source from your research bibliography if you find out that it is not useful.
