Rewrite the following sentences, deleting wordy phrases or substituting a single word or brief phrase to replace them.

1. Students in the astronomy course viewed through telescopes the eclipse of the moon in the night sky during September.

 

2. There is a great deal of concern about the future of financial aid for students.

 

3. The first football game of the season was electrifying to the students.

 

4. There are many reasons for taking Study Skills, including learning to budget time and learning efficient notetaking.

 

5. The method of writing a draft for a paper in a difficult course which I have found of most use has been the freewriting method.
