When you click on the Ask button, Ask Jeeves conducts a search of the Web pages it has cataloged and displays the results on a new page. You'll see the following items on the search results page:

The Ask Jeeves search field, which allows you to refine or change your search.
A list of matching Web sites, listed in order of determined relevance. The first few lines of each site are provided so you can determine whether the site is relevant to your search.

Viewing the Results of Your Search: As with any Web search site, you can click on an individual Web page in the list of search results and visit that page, or you can scroll through the list to see which sites appear to be most promising.
