The Call to Grammar
For this fall’s issue of Digressions, we engage the issue of grammar instruction. What is its place in the composition classroom, and how do we tackle the demands and tedium of grammar instruction? Five instructors share their diverse approaches to the issue. Melanie Brown of the University of Minnesota offers techniques for personalizing grammar instruction.
