How to Use Your Word Processor

Inserting Animation, Audio, and Video

Using many word processors, desktop publishing programs, and HTML editors, you can insert and format animations and audio and video files. To insert an animation, audio, or video file in Microsoft Word, follow these steps:

  1. Place your cursor at the point where you want to insert an animation, audio, or video file.
  2. Choose the INSERT > OBJECT command from the main menu.
  3. The Object Dialog will open. Click on the Create From File tab.
  4. Click on the Browse button to locate the file you want to insert.
  5. Click on OK.
