Welcome!

Map Central is a tool for instructors who want to gather electronic maps for lecture presentations using PowerPoint or other presentation software such as Corel Presentations and Astound. Map Central has been intergrated into a preexisting powerful image-management program called Image & Lecture Gallery (URL: http://worth.runtime.com) and is the actual site where Map Central is located. Originally created for our sister company, Worth Publishers, it is now utilized by the Bedford, Freeman & Worth Publishing Group. The information outlined below can also be found within the Image & Lecture Gallery.

We realize that creating PowerPoint presentation files for classroom use can be a time-consuming task. Users who register can organize the results of their searches into personal folders that will be stored on our server. The map files are designed to provide a template version of chapter materials for instructors to download and then customize according to their specific needs.
